New with tag.  Beautiful artisan designed ring in size 8.  The  stone is a genuine rhodochrosite from Argentina, and the setting is genuine sterling silver, stamped 925.
Rhodochrosite is the national gemstone of Argentina.  The stone is an attractive shade of deep pink with veins of lighter pink-to-white.  The ancient Incas believed that rhodochrosite held the blood of their rulers.  Today, the stone is often called Rosa del Inca, or the Inca Rose stone.
The rhodochrosite in this ring
is a 9X13mm, 7.41ct cabochon cut.  The stone is a deep pink, with swirls of white.  The photos are the actual ring for sale in this listing.  The sterling silver setting surrounds the stone with a pattern of silver triangles created with silver dots.  The pattern continues with flat dots of sterling silver on the split shank.  This pretty ring weighs 8.3 grams.
The genuine sterling silver used in this piece of jewelry is nickel-free.  In addition, the sterling silver is platinum plated to help reduce tarnishing, and to ensure an even shine.  Re-sizing is not recommended, and can damage the platinum plating.
